Prof. Lenneke Vaandrager, Co-chair

Lenneke Vaandrager is Associate Professor Health & Society and Scientific Director of the Centre for Space, Place and Society (CSPS) at Wageningen University in The Netherlands. Her overall research focus is to analyse and contribute to the development of healthy settings: contexts in which people engage in daily activities in which environmental, organizational and personal factors interact to affect health and wellbeing. Most of her work is inspired by systems thinking and salutogenesis. She is coordinator of the European Training Consortium in Public Health and Health Promotion (ETC-PHHP) and active member the IUHPE Global Working Group on Salutogenesis (GWGS).
