Professor Lucyna Woźniak, PhD, DSc. Vice-Rector for Research Strategy and International Affairs and Head of the Department of Structural Biology at the Medical University of Lodz, working in medicinal chemistry and molecular biology. Research areas: molecular aspects of diabetes and GDM – early molecular predictors of type 2 diabetes in women population, application of polyphenols (EPE) antioxidant, anticancer, antiviral and antiaging.

Director of the Healthy Ageing Research Centre (HARC) at the Medical University of Lodz since 2018. Former Supervisory Board of EIT HEALTH and Innovation Strategic Board of EITHEALTH member. The member of the EUA Task-and-Finish Group on the EU Research & Innovation Framework Programme.
