Hilaire Armstrong
Hilaire Armstrong works as a Technical Officer, Youth Initiative and Strategic Partnerships, at the WHO Regional Office for Europe. She completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Australia, and a Master of Public Health at Monash University, Australia.
As a public health professional, her passion is to improve and make meaningful, sustainable and positive impacts on the health and well-being outcomes of individuals and the wider community.
She is an experienced health policy adviser with a demonstrated history working in state government in areas such as health protection, tobacco control and strategic planning, and for the WHO in areas such as sustainable development and health and strategic partnerships. She leads the Youth Initiative programme at the WHO Regional Office for Europe and is passionate about amplifying youth voices and facilitating meaningful youth participation in health and well-being decision making.
